CEC applicants, mainly temporary foreign workers, are well-suited for this program. Having already established a connection within Canada, they navigate smoothly through Canadian society. Aligned with the Express Entry Pool rules, CEC emphasizes government recognition.

First, applicants submit an Expression of Interest and create an online Express Entry profile. Eligibility hinges on the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score, derived from profile information-skilled professionals in NOC categories A, B, or O secure permanent residence.

Notably, after completing their degree and gaining a year of full-time skilled work experience, international students can also apply. Eligibility criteria include at least one year of full-time or equivalent part-time skilled work experience within three years. Proficiency in English or French is crucial, with Quebec having its skilled worker selection process.
